Admissions Requirements

Bachelor Degree (Undergraduate Programs)

Program Duration: 4 Years | 120 Credit Hours

Admission Requirement:

IAU RAK requires either evidence of an earned high school certificate / diploma, General Educational Development (GED) test, or the successful completion of 12 Academic Years at an appropriately accredited postsecondary institution or foreign equivalent. Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis.

Evidence of English Proficiency:

Students must have the minimum auditory skill level and oral skill level needed. Students are excepted if the Medium of Instruction (MOI) in the previous institution studied was in English. Otherwise, a standard English language test (IELTS / TOEFL) or any standardized English test results are required. See ways to meet the English Proficiency requirement.

IAU RAK Recommendations

Professional Experience:

IAU RAK recommends 1 year of full-time professional experience, in any organization, including, but not limited to, private, public, for-profit, nonprofit, start-ups, or established corporate organizations.

Information Technology:

IAU RAK requires students to possess computer and internet skills sufficient to effectively participate in IAU RAK's pedagogical model and conduct research at the undergraduate level.


Post Graduate Degree (Postgraduate Programs)

Program Duration: 2 Years | 36 Credit Hours

Admission Requirement:

IAU RAK requires evidence of an earned bachelor degree in a related major or discipline. Other disciplines may be acceptable and shall be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and they may require prerequisite courses. All degrees must be earned at an appropriately accredited institution or foreign equivalent. IAU RAK understands the differing rigor of institutions and grading scales around the world, and IAU RAK evaluates prior academic credentials within their own context. Exceptions shall be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

APPLICATION FOR ADMISSIONS

Complete all items on the Application for Admissions. Application for Admissions: Standard form. Type on the form ensuring that the details are legible. Then print the form and sign/date. Scanned/emailed forms are acceptable. Make sure the Application Portfolio (AP) is submitted before the deadline.

+ ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS (ORIGINAL TRANSCRIPTS AND/OR FOREIGN CREDENTIAL EVALUATIONS)

Submit official academic transcripts, certificates and credential evaluations where applicable.

+ ENGLISH PROFICIENCY

Submit IELTS, TOEFL or other accepted English proficiency documentation.
