Admissions Process

 

The admissions process is designed to assist the student in evaluating and assessing their educational goals by coming to an agreement with the institution to enroll and receive credit for the desired program. All applicants applying to an academic program must go through the institution’s admissions process. Applications for admission are accepted throughout the year. There are six (6) enrollment terms per calendar year. Applicants are urged to apply in a timely manner for the desired enrollment term. For F-1/I-20 applicants, Admissions Portfolio (AP) should be submitted 30 days prior to the term of enrollment to ensure timely processing. F-1 applicants with a “change of status” should submit 60-90 days prior.

Step 1

Sign-Up for Online OHO

IAU Bangladesh Campus (IAUbd) provides an Open House Orientation (OHO) to help prospective students understand the admission process and prepare for applying to IAU degree programs.

The orientation provides important information about admission requirements, application procedures, required documents, and the steps involved in applying. Prospective students are strongly encouraged to watch the orientation before submitting their application so they can gain a clear understanding of the admission process and make sure they are properly prepared.

Step 2

Submit AP

Applicants to IAU Bangladesh Campus (IAUbd) must submit a complete Admissions Portfolio (AP) containing all required documents for admission evaluation. Applicants should carefully review the requirements for their selected program, as additional documents may be required.

The non-refundable application fee must be submitted with the AP to begin the evaluation process. All documents must be submitted in English, and the complete AP should be submitted at least 15 days before the admission deadline.

Step 3

Evaluation

After receiving the Admissions Portfolio (AP), the IAU Bangladesh Campus (IAUbd) Admissions Office reviews the submission to determine whether all admission requirements have been met. If any documents or information are missing, applicants will be contacted and asked to provide them.

Step 4

Decision

Within 7–10 days of receiving a completed application, the IAU Bangladesh Campus (IAUbd) Admissions Office will issue an admission decision:

  • Accepted: The applicant will receive an Acceptance Letter, Enrollment Agreement, and other required admission documents.
  • Denied: The applicant will receive a Denial Letter explaining the decision and may have the option to appeal.
